SPAIN, 1962

Antonio Rojas, has been playing an essential role in the renovation of Spanish figurative art since the 90s when he was immersed in the group of artists known as Neometaphysics. His work, going beyond the label of Neometaphysic in which it was demarcated in its beginnings, has an innovative and lyrical power with which he constructs a personal architecture. His works are part of some important collections, such as Barbara Rose Collection, New York; the Coca Cola Foundation; Museum Marugame Hirai of Spanish Contemporary Art, Japan; Collection of Banco de España, Madrid; Museo Municipal de Arte Contemporáneo, Madrid; and Museo ARTIUM, Álava.
