After more than 30 years in the advertising area, where he obtained multiple awards, Daniel Ackerman returned to Fine Art photography in 2016. This new facet was quickly recognized, obtaining individual exhibitions at the Sara García Uriburu, Jorge Mara-la Ruche (collective) and Otto Galería, the latter with whom he works today. He was the first photographer to be invited to The line thinks, at the National Borges Cultural Center. His current work reflects his fascination for the graphics and textures of nature, emphasizing the character of this while minimizing the notion of perspective. He participated in BAphoto 2019-20, Art Palm Beach ’20 and Art on Paper ’20. Finalist in ArtexArte and Hariban awards.
