Feliks Culpa’s work revels in the transient, exploring the relationship between the ephemeral moment and the passing of time. His drawings are reminders of a soon to be forgotten past. ‘The Deadwardians’ series depicts stills from The Good Old Days, a British television series that ran for 30 years from 1953, recreating the atmosphere of the Victorian / Edwardian music hall with songs of the era performed in the style of the original performers. The early days of the programme are now as distanced in time from us as the show itself was from the world it recreated.
