As a visual artist and poet, one of Jacki Praxedes’ main interests is the union of both disciplines in his visual work. He considers poetry his language of origin and visual art his training, the vehicle for the manifestation of the poetic world. The search is the most important thing for him. The encounter with the transcendental questions of the human being. More than the real world, he considers the world beyond our senses as the great motive of every work. Thus each work is for him a speculation of an always imaginary world without specific visual exactness, always open to enter and leave them with the freedom of intuition.
