SPAIN, 1978

Juan Fernández Álava is a painter who loves his craft. He is characterized by following the inexhaustible trail of artists who have approached the genre of portraiture and landscape, treating it as something mysterious and urgent in continuous renewal. His works are part of the collections of the Ministry of Culture of Spain or the María Cristina Masaveu Foundation, Madrid. He has recently curated the exhibition Painting in the veins for the Barjola Museum in Gijón.
