Using her bare hands and fingerprints instead of brushes, Liliana Livneh smears pigments and charcoal producing a tangible sensation, including writing and calligraphy.
She graduated from the National School of Fine Arts, Buenos Aires. She completed her studies in Art and Philosophy at Tel Aviv University, which honoured her in 1993 with the Dean’s Award for Original Work and scholarships to deepen her knowledge of Gothic and Renaissance Art in Florence and Alsace. She RECEIVED a scholarship by the French government to study at the École de Beaux Arts, Paris.
In its production, a cultural diversity with Latin American roots is expressed, in one of the most complex settings in the contemporary world.
