Mad Meg lives and works in Paris. She has been influenced to the universe of Hieronymus Bosch. She minutely works the appropriation and reinterpretation of the foundational masterpieces of western academic culture and uses historically important literature as inspiration, texts which she often includes on the canvas in their entirety as texture. In each work, conscious and referential discourse always accompanies spectacular pictorial execution. Exhibited for the first time in 2004, her work has been featured in numerous solo exhibitions in Europe, and came to France for the first time with the artshow Hey! Modern art and pop culture, in 2016. Since December 2017, the artist regularly contributes to Hey!, season 2, authoring a feminist column draw for each issue.
