María Cobas studied Technical Architecture in La Coruña and Denmark. She worked in the architecture studio of Hembert Peñaranda, Renzo Piano’s collaborator, in Genoa.
Her journey through architecture and her interest in the representation of the human figure and both individual and collective behaviour led her to devote herself exclusively to her artistic career, in order to express herself through painting.

She develops her work through a poetic and metaphorical dialogue. She interprets social behaviour and its evolution over time. His work reflects his interest in human relationships and how they are affected by new models of society and communication.
