Marlen Letetzki is an emerging artist from Berlin. For her progressive paintings on aluminium and paper, she models shapes and bodies with a 3D graphics software in sculptural processes. « What I find particularly interesting about it is that it can follow the laws of the physical world, but it doesn’t have to ». With watercolour on paper, the artist appreciates that it “is unforgiving (in) a beautiful way.”
Marlen Letetzki studied at the University of Arts Berlin and at the Chelsea College of Art and Design, London. She received several prizes and showed in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
