Miguel Marina has understood his work as a process in which each piece and each material led him to the next, which has led to formal and discursive jumps that have as a common axis to analyze and think about the landscape and the different elements that compose it from the painting and the space in it.
He thinks about the process that implies the union of idea-image-material as a common nexus in his practice and he believes that this has extended to form a body of work that looks at different fronts but that refers to the same thing.
