«A pure element that in its simplicity sometimes can reach antagonistic meanings, the line can unite or divide, may be border or path, margin or pass, unity or sequence, design or word, body, space or time. With this variety of topics I explore the possibilities of the different visual arts media using repetition, accumulation, consumption, and reconfiguration of matters and materials.
In some of my work I burn timber to turn it into a construction tool for installations and drawings. And so, the charcoal, an important material in art history, is no longer just a product made to trace an image, but it becomes an integrant and indispensable part in some of my artworks ».
